There is a different coating that goes onto ur IC pipes. It prevents heat from getting into the pipes rather than being kept in which the thermal wrap would do. U want the charge to be as cool as possible so coating it will provide benefit (i did it on my pipes), however if u would be able to see a measurable difference im not sure. It wasnt that much more to get done when i coated my turbo housings ect so that is why i went down that path.
