I noticed the 'rev hold/over rev' thing too when i drove a friends DBW Lib GT - took me by surprised when it happened - i had to re-assure him that it wasn't my driving that was causing it and that I wasn't riding the clutch and/or dragging the throttle on gear changes.
I prefer the ole fashion cable throttle feel.
