It would still be a firearm under present laws. Even curios require a licence, and they specifically relate to rimfire, pinfire or centrefire types manufactured before 1900 and for which no ammunition is available!
BTW if ya complain to, or against Ms Roberts, don't link to this forum coz I don't think she's gonna like some of these posts somehow. Don't ask me how I reckon this, just a gut feeling.
