factory built in clutch shudder FTW!

both my 98 Wrx and my vi Sti shudder when cold.....

Funny but neither of my RS's did.

I'm led to believe that the 98 0n wrx's and Sti's have a harder clutch friction material to get better life out of the clutch / handle slipped launches etc without going up in smoke.
