I don't mind paying decent coin for a meal, if I can validate what I'm paying for. What shits me most is its getting harder to get good service these days at many restaurants/cafes etc.

but i think the recession is gonna change all this... places are going to have to lower their prices to attract customers, and ppl are going to start going to places that they KNOW are good, not just from bullllk shitty advertising or colourful signs lol
and i think that now the availability of jobs/work is drying up, we shall see customer service get better accross the board, as the employees will start to vaule their jobs a bit more :P
