Not sure on jet skis, but I know on bikes you need to use a different oil in them to the oil you use in cars. Reason being normal car oil has friction modifiers in them to lessen any wear which isnt so good on wet clutches in alot of 4 stroke bikes. I doubt this would be an issue in your case though.
