The pill is usually in the vac line leading from the boost solenoid back to the inlet duct that runs under the inlet manifold. (just noticed that some later cars have the pill in the line off the comp housing before the 't' to the boost solenoid)
Recheck the correct orientation of all the boost control lines...I'll see if I can find a pic for you.
