Question is: Is it possible to rotate the exhaust housing in relation to the inlet housing on the turbo and still assemble it with no dramas?
I think that they may be a degree or two out from what they were which forces the exhaust to slowly wander over as it vibrates. I can't see anything else that might have changed it. If I push it over on the rubber hangers it just wanders back. I have tried loosening the bolt near the gearbox and shoving that both ways but really cant get any movement out of it.
Am I on to something or a complete twit???

If it did,nt do it before there must be an installation issue!
Try this:
Undo all the bolts on the flanges, just enough to get some movement and re-align centre the exhaust.
As you are tightening the flanges give it a bit of a wobble to see if the clearence is still maintained.
If there is not enough twist in the flanges you may need to drill the flange holes a little bigger to achieve move movement. Good luck
