I did a search but could not find any direct answers.

Currently I have a Trust 3' TBE which im thinking of getting a new muffler for. The note being produced sounds "tinny". I noticed the 3' inlet shrinks once inside the muffler, would this be the cause? would changing the muffler make any difference?

Any advice would be great.
