Oh by the way, I noticed no one 'thought outside of the box' and suggested that if the head gasket blew then it could over pressurise the cooling system which may have casued the the hole in the radiator??

So it could be a correct diagnosis after all with the third hand non mechinaicla information coming from the owner confusing the issue?

Any updates on the repair?
