Believe it or not but there is not a paedophile on every street corner and there is not a terrorist hidden in every other house.

Whatever happened to personal responsibility and good parenting...I.E. If you dont want your kids to be exposed to a source of violence and porn then dont expose them to it!!! If your going to let them have access to the net then monitor their use and once they are old enough for this to be a breach of their privacy and old enough to be trusted then they are old enough to contribute some money to paying for it.

I also strongly object to someone else being able to decide for me what is offensive!
