I maybe getting a b4 twin turbo engine (1999-2000 model engine) for my MY00 wrx as the motor is stuffed. I have been told that these engine are better than the a normal wrx engine, slightly stronger and better cam profile (more torque so i was told).

I have a few questions.

I have been told i can bolt my manifold (inlet and exhaust) and all the other bits and pieces straight to this engine. Can anyone confirm this?

The car has autronics. Will it be unsafe if i drive the car without a new tune since its a different engine?

Is the engine actually any better/strong than a standard wrx my00 engine?
