I've been lurking around for a while. Bought an 08 WRX hatch in black back in December. Loads of fun to drive but the Hailstorm demolished it. Damage was pretty bad with some heavy dings on the roof and all panels. My g/f stalled it in a flooded sidestreet. After replacing the plugs and clearing a half ton of water, sand, and grass out of the airbox, she ran again. I didn't really want it back after that which was lucky. If anybody sees it at auction, buyer beware as it's had enough water in it to wet the plugs.

RAC was pretty good to deal with, still waiting for my payout though.

Couldn't wait as I needed a car so I bought a 2010 hatch in Blue from Ozzy Park. They did me a good deal, got leather and sunroof, reverse sensors, and a roof rack more or less for free. It's a great car with some nice noticable improvemnets over the 08. Needed to get another hatch for outdoor pursits and the dog.

I suspect she'll remain stocktacular for now. It's just a daily drive and a bit of weekend fun. I'd love to get out for a trackday sometime. I've been racing motorbikes for the last 5 years or so but I've had to give it up after 3 big injuries in as many years.

I'm into cycling a bit, squash, and most of all, kiteboarding.
