realise this is an old thread but found this info on the CPP website and thought it might be relevant for PWRX members working in the city who also have a bike and may ride to work during the warmer months.....

From 27 May 2010, the City of Perth will be providing 57 free all day motorcycle parking bays on Mounts Bay Road to the west of the Mitchell Freeway overpass (see Plan below). This free parking will be provided as part of a 12 month trial.
Access to this parking facility is from Mounts Bay Road westbound, west of Spring Street.
The parking site is close to Blue CAT services and other Transperth bus routes.
