I think good on you for giving it a go, but make sure you have a good read and research prior to doing your own work. Usually you can find out the best way from others mistakes or by following the workshop manuals.

Intake manifold gaskets is all u need go to subaru parts deparment with ur vin number and then order the correct part... Without the gaskets it will leak.. I also found if uve got a phenolic spacer that putting a gasket underneath the TGVs and ontop of them really gives a good seal..
