Tried something new today - It still somewhat proves to me that treadmills are very brutal when it comes down to it's calculations of how long a kilometre actualy is, in terms of calibration.

Set the dreadmill to count down from 25minutes to 0, and see how far I can run in that time. Started off at 11.2km/h, at 4km mark, i'm at 11.8 (increasing speed as distance gets further) and last 500 metres im running at 13.5km/h and I just made 4.8km!

I've been trying to get 5.0 under 25min on this sucker for quite some time, just feels like compared to the road that these things are sooo brutal with calibrated distances? Feel like i want to try that on another brand of machine as i feel like I am pretty fit and giving it my all, absolutely slayed by the end of it - 1.5kilo loss in weight (weight before and after the run)

Anyone else find this?

Note that it takes the treaddy about 25 seconds to ramp up to 11.2km/h, so that 25 seconds could be the difference between 4.8 and 4.9 etc.
