C'mon people......I agree its a very shitty way to win a game, i'm italian at heart and that was an extremely hollow victory. But Australia had many opportunities and couldnt get it to gel. Great fight by the aussies and im damn proud of them. The penalty was warranted, the defender had the choice of holding him back (as he did) and risk a penalty or go easy and risk an open attack at the goal keeper, its a split decision but it was clear as day imho. Aussies will be back next cup no question.
