The car has been lowered and I too was wondering if 235/45/17s go on the STI rims with correct fitting as they seem a bit more common and hence the price might be lower.

A tyre speed calculator shows that at 100kmh you will be doing 101.4kmh with the wider tyre, so I'm assuming you wouldn't notice any detrimental affect on performance/acceleration, and obviously only have a minimal speed variation to consider.

Any guidance would be appreciated and if you know of a better price on the Adrenalins.
