The only way to fix it, is to get the bonnet resprayed, or do what some people have done, and painstakingly fill in each chip with an extremely fine paint brush (like the types used for painting model trains and such), and properly matched paint, then a full cut and polish.

The last method can work if the paint is perfectly matched, but if its not, then you'll have lots of discoloured dots just like before.
