Is WAW open next week? Always good to go down after a big meet (jet cars on Monday) as the track is prepared better for them.

Not sure John, but I am back at work anyway so it will be a no go for me.
I am hearing you about it being prepped properly after the big meets. My front wheels actually skated on the last run, mid track, before I called it quits. The track was definitely not prepped right.

I tried different things on the night (trying some of the advice John & yourself gave me
![Smile](./images/smilies/smile.gif)
). It was a 5.5k launch, I shifted at 7k 1st to 4th and just after 6k into 5th. I did run a 12.38 @ 109 on my first run though, shifting at 7 the whole way. I just could not get the car to launch like I have been able to before down there.
Shifting later in 1st to 4th and earlier into 5th did feel better though, although I could not day it is quicker due to the track conditions.

Next, will well see what it does on a track with corners?

I have every intention of doing so Tim
You should see if you can come up for the Jacks Hill climbs or a night at Barbagello Tim.
NO LIMIT EVENTS, they are doing a Collie day too this year.
