A spot of breakfast before tennis?

Some info I've found:

AUSTRALIA

HIGHEST RECORDED TEMPERATURE:

Oodnadatta, South Australia 50.7 C (123.3 F) on the 2nd January, 1960

AFRICA

HIGHEST RECORDED TEMPERATURE:

Al'Aziziyah, Libya 57.7 C (135.9 F) on the 13th September, 1922

Now holy shit that's hot!

WESTERN AUSTRALIA

HIGHEST RECORDED TEMPERATURE:

Mardie 50.5 C (122.9 F) on the 19th February, 1998

WA just misses the record but it's much more recent.

Perth's hottest day, which I remember all to well, ever recorded temperature in Perth was 46.2 °C (115.2 °F) on 23 February 1991, although Perth Airport recorded 46.7 °C (116.1 °F) on the same day.
