There used to be a show on the ABC about mid to late 80's based in canada about locals salvageing fallen logs in the sounds/inlets in canada.. one group the good guys and doing it properly and one guy wood do anything legal/illegal to get the logs.. used to be on 2 or 3 times a week about 5/5:30
