The fact is you can get stickered for having a completely stock car if your attitude doesn't suit.. the cops only need suspicion.. they don't need to carry the book of law with them.

At the end of the day 90% of it falls down to rims, height, tint and noise. Make the car sound stock (no exhaust, or varex muffler at least) and put some moderately sized rims (18s or 17s) with plenty of wheel gap and some very light tint and you will very rarely see a yellow sticker land on your windscreen.

Howeverrrrr now we're on the topic.. Has anyone confirmed the "All coilovers are illegal" myth? Has anyone had any luck running over the pits with coilovers?? Ive had slammed cars for ages but always used to the swapping out springs.. so interested to know If I could get away with winding up the coilovers to get over for being too low.
