I've heard of heads being taken out with engine in but I don't know of anyone in Perth that would do it that way. Just a suggestion, it's actually not hard to pull an engine,i did it myself a few months ago and do not have a mechanical background. I just hired an engine crane off gumtree. If you can pull the engine yourself and drop it off at your workshop of choice, then pick it up and reinstall it yourself then you'll be saving around 1500 in labour.
