Lately I've been noticing that car takes a few seconds to start if I don't crank it at the same time when the pump is priming. I just thought it was because of E85. The typical Finnish summer is not very warm

But I don't remember it doing this right after I changed the fuel pump. This could be related to the pressure drop problem. Maybe faulty internal by-pass valve?

I will check the pump again and report my findings
