I think you will get away with just putting the VF35 on you 98. Run nothing over stock boost if your not immediately putting in an
ECU. Most people come unstuck upping the boost, not upgrading the fuel pump and wonder why their engine suddenly went to the great EJ cemetery.
For piece of mind get a workshop to check you AFR's after installing the turbo.
If on a budget you could pick up a Link with an upgraded 10 row Chip (not sure in this was done in the 98
ECU) then just get a road tune done for $400, no dyno time. Works well.
A cheap Walbro fuel pump is a piece of piss to install yourself as well for a minor mod.
