ha, this would be the case pre-FOFA. good fucking luck using standard template and still pass audit post-FOFA. everything has to be customised to the client and everything has to be explained to the client how it is in their best duty to do certain things three times.
well, that and the fact that I am with the most anal licensee in Australia.

Come on man, what FOFA set out to achieve was essentially quashed based on the general argument that the majority of clients would not pay the missed commission revenue in consultancy fees.

If FOFA achieved anything it was that pro-formas/PDS' became more pre-stacked with 'for lack of a better term', exclusion clauses.

unfortunately, I do work for one hell of an anal licensee and they go over the top with compliance. not sure how it is for you but we will get in trouble for missing small things like not stating the risk for the client if they didn't follow our recommendation.

Drive your car to work everyday or get a significant payrise? If that's the way you choose to weigh it up, then that's entirely your decision to make, but I don't see the point bitching about your 3% rise if you have better prospects but are unwilling to take them.
