Default GD steering wheel into GC8

Have searched, forum returned no results.

Searched NAISOC etc.... they say it can be done.

Anyone done this?

No give a fark for airbags as I wont be using it.

New door trims, new seats... steering wheel looks tatty all of a sudden. I like the new ones.

Any GR steering wheels in a GC? - Subaru Impreza GC8 & RS Forum & Community: RS25.com

That says yes, not sure how much the police/insurance companies would like an unplugged airbag in the car though.

Yep, all works fine, the airbag is also wired in, just got the wiring diagrams off the net, cut and spliced (with battery disconnected).

Since mine is early model it runs no bags so no concern. Just a direct bolt on = win

Yep, will take you 10 min, as long you have the special fitting to undo the airbag nuts (On the wheel you buy), I've got this set if you need a hand.

Keep an eye out on Rexnet, got mine for $200.00 delivered.

cheers
