Default DIY - Exhaust replacement MY99

All done. Took off my stock exhaust on saturday and put on a 3" TBE.
Took about 6 hours all up since I made a DIY with pics as I went along.

Thanks to everyone who chipped in and gave much needed advice
before I started.

I hope it helps someone out in the future.

Follow link and look for "DIY" under the "WRX Stuff"

Nice work mate - I've been looking through a fair few of the TBE Guides, and yours is very good.

As i type this i'm having TBE + Up-Pipe fitted, and after looking at your pics, with a bit of help I reckon i could pull it off successfully. I'm not *that* good though, and have got a mate in Perth to fit it all up for me.

Bought this. Sounds fantastic. One piece was a bugger to get
back up under the car in one go.

Good Write up!!!

This has convinced me to get my exhaust fitted by a professional specialist for $250 rather than a small general exhaust place for $120. I think the extra $130 will be money well spent when it comes to my baby.
