Answer to your question: Because better fuel is always a plus to aid against detonation.

Do you often tune peoples cars with a bottle of Octane booster? Why cant this be open? Dont see why you should hide this detail. BTW this isnt an attack, its a question.

Hi Russ,

Apologies if I took it the wrong way dude. Do PM me instead thanks. We are up to our necks with work and have reached a stage whereby emails and PMs will be much appreciated.

While I am here, octane boost should be in a more permanent form such as water injection etc with a management system for dual maps. In the case of the previous vehicle in this thread, I mentioned octane boost ---meaning better fuel with higher iso-octane. We get 100+ up to 102+ fuel at the pumps overseas Russ. That was where I was coming from.

Ashly's GC8 track prep is coming along very nicely.

Below is the recent Apexi PFC tune running @14.7PSi/1Bar of boost -- stock engine with exhaust and front mount.
