I personally rate them to be the same. Only difference is I get them at a very affordable price.

Evolution R is now offering EBC slotted and dimpled brake rotors at discounted prices.
I will be posting up more info in the new few days. EBC Front Slotted + Dimpled Rotor for the GD STi. These discs come with a wear in coating to enhance the bedding-in process, which is the same technology used with the Project Mu SCR + SCR Pro rotors: Recent EBC slotted and dimpled brake rotors installed on a GDB STi. Recent brake work on Mitsubishi EVO8.
Parts supplied and installed: Project Mu Racing Brake Fluid Flush -- $120 EBC Red Brake Pads Front and rear, EBC 3GD Brakes Front + Rear Rotors-- $850 Time taken to fit the brakes rotors + pads + brake fluid flush and bleed -- 2.5hrs Note: The Brembo setup is the same for all Mitsubishi Evolution IV to IX. Front EBC 3GD slotted+dimpled rotors + EBC Red Brake Pads installation. Brake Caliper rods must be properly removed and reinstalled and aligned properly to remove + install pads: Spring Support Back plate on the Brembo Caliper must be removed and the EBC Reds are slipped in carefully: Caliper rods have a sleeved clearance fit, which must fit all the way into the back of the Brembo Caliper to safely secure the brake pad in: EBC Red Brake pads are now properly fitted with caliper rods secured onto backing plate: Front install: EBC 3GD Slotted+Dimpled rotors and EBC Red Brake Pads installed. (Note that the 2x19mm caliper bolts have to be removed to remove caliper before installing new rotor.): Rear Install: EBC 3GD Slotted+ Dimpled rotors and EBC Red Brake Pads installed. Note: Installation is similar to the front except for handbrake adjustment which have to be done. |

I may need rear rotors to suit 2 pot (05 wrx but on my GT Foz)
Not sure if they can get away with a machining, but they are shuddering like Michael J Fox atm. What have you got to suit? Only needs to be basic street application for rear.
