If the Tomei headers reduce the diameter (similar to the stock cross-pipe) - hows that helping performance? Since bigger x-pipes help spool and top end (on the stock manifold).

Sorry my bad actually the Tomei headers are smaller than stock 38mm vs 42.7mm at the exhaust port, I guess Tomei's R&D showed better performance with the smaller diameter. Twinscroll headers don't have a crossover pipe so its not a restriction.
