Hey all,

Anyone notice their bluray drive now acknowledges there is a bluray disc present in the drive - but doesn't actually read it since updating to 3.5? I've updated to take advantage of 3D - but now the drive won't read both movies and games...wtfbbq?

Anyone else?

Haven't updated as I haven't been online for a while.

If there's a problem, I won't be updating till they update the update with an updated update.

Yeh been googling it a fair bit, and the consensus seems to be that only 'fat' model ps3's have been affected, with the recent slimline's coming through unscathed...

Hopefully it is only a firmware issue that can be rectified, but some are maintaining it is a diode issue within the laser assembly...lame
