They look for this....I got pinged for it last time I went to the pits.

The inspector was awesome though. He passed everything else on the car and told me if I could go home, put the wing with the 3rd brake light back on and get back to the pits within the hour, he'd tick it off without me having to wait in line again (and also without slugging me another inspection fee) and I'd be sweet to go

Can't speak for everyone else i.e. I don't know how lenient the inspectors will be, but just make sure its all fitted up before you go and you wont have any troubles.

Nope, re-inspections are listed items over. My 31 went back over with the locker in it, he drove it, didnt say a word.

that wont work for this car, there are no spoiler holes, and i think Brett kept the wing when he sold Quinney the car, so i think its install a 3rd brake light!

$30 from Super Cheep for a stick on brake light... works a treat and takes 10 mins to fit!

Yep well that was good news for you. My brothers 33 is still waiting for an engineer to look over his car. It went in first time for FMIC, BOV and front tyres worn on the inside edge more than the outside even though all the wear indicators were all good. It didn't pass because even though they said they were sweet, they noticed he had a locked diff. And a fuel pressure regulator. And a aftermarket fuel pump. And a catch can. And a high mount GT30R. And an external gate. And adjustable suspension. And HID's. This was at Midland. Most of that was easy to change back. It now runs std rims, ride height and a massive 6psi. Needs the report for-
* Fitment & suitability of the Garrett turbocharger in regard to complying with Section LA3 of VSB14

* Fitment etc of the fuel pump & fuel pressure regulator in regard to complying with Section LA4 of VSB 14

* The modifications to the exhaust system must comply with Section LA & LT4 of VSB 14.

Like i said, if they find anything else wrong, they can/ and might just so happen to add to the list. Pits cant issure yellows, but the most certainly can add to them unfortunatley. Sometimes you get lucky and the inspection dude isnt so harsh (such as your case TJ) and sometimes (Phizzles bros case) they are harsh. Its a game of dice which annoys me as it lacks consistency.

Each individual situation differs, how a sticker is applied means jack. The police may find some higher state of well being throwing it on the car at angles etc but in the end you line up and depending on who you get, your attitude and the general condition of your vehicle will establish your end result. There's no myths or secret squirrel business, go over cop the list you have to sort out and cross your fingers.....next please.
