Yeah my car got bumped the other day in the door just below the mirror, in his majesty's car park off Murray St, $200 to fix it, so atm ive just left it.

Excess totals $550 and I have no claim bonus protection.

New bumper + paint + fifth dimension = around $1000 all up fitted if you're lucky. plus repairing the scuffed tail light.

Repair the bumper = $425 but it will never be the same. Mounting points are rooted, weak spot in the bumper where the weld would be on the corner where it's cracked.

For $125 more I get a brand new bumper.

Pay $70 to get my no claim bonus protection back when I pay my next premium.

I'll take $620 any day over $1000 or a repair job. The car is only a year old.

Has anyone on here had experience with the dent removal guys like pop-a-dent or other paintless dent removal guys, and does it work...

man thats a kick in the ball after a few weeks you wont even noticed the dent

Used it on my last car... works a treat but may leave spider web type marks in paint once ding has been heated and popped out, depending on how long the ding has been there.

Obviously certain dents and dings can't be heated and popped.
