Spewin mate! Same thing happened to me, came out to my car where I parked it IN THE MIDDLE OF F***ING NOWHERE in the carpark, as I always do coz I'm paranoid about people hitting it and the rear bumper is hanging off You saw the bandaids!

Now I gotta fork out the insurance excess to get it fixed coz they didn't leave details. Excess for a 24 yr old isn't exactly peanuts. Even though age has nothing to do with it when you're not even in the bloody car.

So unfair.

a really good tip is to park in the end bays at shop & park right over next to the kerb, or park with 2 spots clear either side of you, then before you shut your car down crank the steering wheel to full lock, you will fing that people are less likely to park next to you because they think you are gonna swing into them when exiting, i mean i personally would avoid parking next to a car with its wheels on full lock for that exact reason.... reverse psychology FTW

i also write down plates of cars that are parked in front of me when parallel parked (like in west perth) especially if they have a tow bar or its a big 4wd

You'll more than likely find it's cheaper not to go through your insurance.

Bitchen mate.

Always park like Strubaru has advised.

Or look for a Car of the value as they will most likely will not want to damage there car.

If I have to park 200m+ from the shop entrance to protect my car I will.
