Car Freight
Hey guys,
Looking at possibly buying a car in NSW, and trying to figure out the total cost and whats involved. Airfare would be about $500.00 return. What else is involved? The actual cost of shipping the car, insurance, registering it in WA etc... Thanks in advance. |

Cost me $900 to get my prelude from VIC to WA. They got me to look over the car after it was off of the train and I didnt realised that they had damaged the electric aerial until days later so they wouldn't pay for it. I wasn't particularly worried about insurance at the time for the old prelude but I do remember that it came with something for that price.

My partner got quoted $600 with TNT From Perth to Melbourne by train. I assume this would be classed as a back load hence the lower price.

Just paid $300 to have it trucked from Broome to Perth with Broome Freightlines.
Try and find a mate in the business, makes a hell of a difference, and they may even make a concious effort to not f&%k your car up on the way... |
