Default Engine bay dress up

Hey everyone,

As we all know...the Subaru engine bay isnt the prettiest around, although it can be made to be!!

I'm thinking of doing my engine bay...the rest of the car looks nice, but the engine bay is sorely lacking!!

What I want to know is, are there any ideas about how to make the engine bay look nicer, apart from the obvious polishing, and replacing hoses with braid and/or silicon??

Does anyone have pics of FORCEFED's engine bay?? (IMHO, one of the nicest looking engine bays I've seen)

Cheers

engine harness for the loom with a motorsport quick release pin on the firewall. relocate fuse box in-cabin as circuit breakers. relocate battery to the boot. get rid of all of the standard cannisters for fuel, breather and purge valves. fabricate new washer/fluid bottles and all header tanks. replace intercooler hose clamps with adel wiggins couplers and lastly, add carbon fibre for airboxes and other covers.

and if you do this and run out of ideas, engine out, smooth and weld holes you no longer need and then paint.

Change intake pipe to silicon intake, braid the lines or hoses.
Or maybe the vacumm lines.

Mine look alright tho.

If you to spend a few hundred, I think something like forcefed's engine is out of the question. Im sure he spend quite a bit on them.

Not really...painting and polishing will be done by myself, which will save a lot of money.

Maybe get the liberty b4 engine cover joe? Paint it with 'PPCC PRYDE' or something?

Failing that, battery relocation would be a good one along with braided lines.

Could go jap-spec and zippy-tie heatshield sheets to all your hoses, along your firewall and heat wrap EVERY pipe that comes off your engine

Put a MoTeC sticker on the underside of your bonnet. Done.
