Um yeh err sorry josh but despite what you like to think things have changed and little of what you did remains.

For instance.... the fmic no longer falls out onto the ground due to the lack of mounting. The ride is significantly lighter due the removal of the huge ball of wire that was shoved into the dash that did nothing. The gearbox wont fall out anymore either since what was left of the mounts was replaced in the first week of owning it. The pod filter no longer flaps in the breeze nor does the boost controller. Clamps are now on countless hoses. The engine has been competely rebuilt, turbo replaced, flywheel replaced, clutch replaced. All but the clutch were fubar. (Something I'm not sure how I did driving it to school and back every other day) Audio Visual replaced.

I think I have spent enough time either working on the car myself or paying large sums of money to have a pro do it to make it MY car now. The pink bits are the first planned mod I have been able to make the rest has just been repair. Infact I have spent almost two thirds of what I paid to buy it in repairs to it with less than 12 months on the road. I'm pretty sure that makes me the one that REbuilt that car from the ground up.

I'm sorry dude, and I may just be a little girly, but credit where it is due.

This thread is so off track... its ridiculous...

It appears 3/4 of the members on here are on their rags this week...

I'm pretty sure this thread was intended for people who attended Rexpo to post their photo's and comments on the show... not bickering and arguing about who built what when and how and who the hell gives a toss anyway!

'Re-Re-Re-built'........lolz

Woo hoo Junkyard Wars!!

Re-building involves more than rebuilding an engine and replacing a few worn parts......... Especially when everything Foxy mentioned has a finite life span....

Damo post some more Piccies!!!

there is a long long list, basicly the car was striped right down engine, all drivetrain, brakes everything was removed and replaced with newer items, including diffs, driveshafts, fuel pump, fuel line, ect ect. but this is not really the place to talk about nonsense this about REXPO

oh forgot to mention...that was a RA STi engine that was in that car

so keep it on track i say
