Default Building a 2.5 litre? Try these heads!!

Very nice..

Well priced too, considering the work involved, the parts it comes with, and who built it!!

If I was building a proper 2.5 litre performance motor, I'd rather buy those heads, which have had proper R&D and proper work done by an extremely reputable company, than pay some Habib from Sydney about a grand less to do it with a die grinder and a half eaten lamb kebab

My thoughts exactly Tino.... Some how JHH engineering dont make Kebabs on the side Joe..... If not go somewhere local like Konsteck's and have them flow your heads with the proper flow machine, Still end up in front and with the spare cash it can go towards other go fast bits.......

I reckon that is excellent value considering the quality of work done and parts used, by the looks of it they supply the head, not an exchange deal. Everything is top shelf and you get the guarantee of it being done by professionals. Head work is a black art, there is no way you can achieve equal flow through the 16 ports without computer assistance. A basic 'head job' starts at $1500 locally and goes up from there, once you throw in the parts used, Cosworth's asking price is not as astronomical as it looks.

i agree with joe and jonno, for cosworth work and a full outright purchase that price isn't too bad, what would a JUN prepared set cost as a comparison?

perhaps JUN would just use the cosworth equipment

if u want to squeeze every lil inch of performance then YES i would consider using those heads. However for the majority of ppl ported sti heads would be more than enough to flow up and around 350kw atw.

Who would be goin past those levels, not many if any.

JUN's philosophy on car parts goes like this..

if someone makes something of excellent quality already, they use that, if not, they make it themselves..

given JUN use cosworth pistons, id say theyd also use the heads as they know what work they do..
