lol u havn't been driving it enough. Na, low km's doesn't really mean good engine, theres a few ppl that blow engines before they even reach 25k, all depends on the driver and service, take a look at the log books ect, engines are easy enough to buy these days, just upgrade to an sti engine if thats what u want, as for me i think i'll be selling my baby soon.

hi kms dont always mean really bad. A person who does alot of hwy and country driving with regular servicing will have a much better motor then a person with low kms city driving. Alot of things to take into account. 8 months b4 i finally decided on my car and ive had it for 4 months and had about 7 pretty decent issues. I think its more of a luck draw. Just make sure u keep money aside for things that may go wrong and buy a car u feel comfortable with and u know it feels right to drive. U cant really go wrong there.

A friend got caught up in a odometer scam whereby he bought a "low" km car, only to be told by the DPI/Police Fraud Squad that his 80,000km car had actually travelled in excess of 200,000kms - the dumbass before him got charged with fraud, cause when he bought the car, the km's were recorded at ~120,000kms on the transfer papers. The DPI computer system automatically detected that the km's had gone backwards from 1st owner to 2nd owner to 3rd owner (friend) & that's how the whole scam unfolded. |
