Default KW Coilovers-Comments

I am looking at getting coilovers on my 05 WRX and getting back out on the track again after a break, nothing special like Targa etc. just events at RAC, Collie, Motorplex and the odd track day at Barbagallo. They obviously have to be good for the street too.

I have been looking at DMS Golds 40mm and Tein but was just recently recommended the KW setup. I've never really heard of the KW's but I was told that they are very good and very adjustable.

Just wondering if anyone has any feed back on the KW's or even the other ones mentioned with actual use or just hearsay.

Thanks

I run them in the Emo - excellent coilover. Import them direct from the US whilst the dollar is strong & you'll save a bomb over the local pricing.

Possibly the most under-driven Evo X in the world??

Can't go wrong with the KW. Otherwise the DMS are also a good option.

Yep - I imported mine from Works Concepts - http://www.worksconcepts.com/ Best to email them - they're pretty good with communication, etc.

I saved thousands, yes thousands (Disclaimer - I bought Club Sports not Variant 3's, but even the V3's were massively cheaper than local at the time.)

Thanks mate,

Just looked on another American site and already found them $2000 less than a price quoted here I will look at your link tonight and do some research.

Do you know if the US KW's are the same spec as the ones you get here. I am just thinking of the Aus spec Tein SS ones which are designed just for our wonderfully smooth roads and are different from other markets.

If you have the $$ KW's won't dissapoint (very high quality). That or DMS/Cusco if you want something of that level.

Just a quick word though, I dont think they (the K-Dubs) come with tops though (please correct if Im wrong). Have to purchase strut/camber tops separately.

They all come from Germany - the Club Sports come with tops (well mine did).
