Yeah I did, it's out of my car at the moment. Took a few pictures... umm I'll upload them and show ya going back to the 207. Just a rough estimate Rossco ?

I think you will be fighting a lost battle with a dealership in this case, and may as well spend your money on repairing or replaceing the motor

So, hopefully get my car back today or tomoz from the awesome guys at Stechic (aka Doug) Forester Sti Engine into my my01 wrx. God, can't wait to have her back! Will post the results of the heart transplant, based on prior members recommendations his work is no doubt going to be top notch, and the engine perfect.

See you on the streets soon =P

I'm interested to know how much a job like that costs, I know it varies widely depending on what gets done though. I'm looking into pricing up an EJ207 to replace my ageing 243xxx km stocker just in case it decides to shit a big end or something in the near future haha

Good to hear she's all fixed! Hopefully trouble free motoring from now on. A lesson for everyone i think, if your not sure, get the car checked by a Subaru specialist or at least by the RAC before you buy. Even if its a dealership
