Quote:
What competition?? Pirelli vs Pirelli vs Pirelli all down the grid Once upon a time there was competition in F1, be it Pirelli vs Goodyear,Goodyear vs Bridgestone, Bridgestone vs Michelin (ignoring the US GP of course...), but only for a handful of years in each case - it seems that each brand can only stand to spend the amounts necessary for "brand perception enhancement" (note - not product enhancement) for a short period of time, before one bails and tyre development slows dramatically. If F1 supremacy was your defining correlation to high quality, sustained improvement street tyres you would be queuing up for Engelberts or Firestones... but you're not are you. If anything, the FIA actively discourages tyre competition in its sports - F1 - Pirelli, WRC - Michelin, WTCC - Yokohama (whoops, a "world" championship that uses "my" brand - shocking). FIM - MotoGP - Bridgestone. Even domestically - V8S - Dunlop, ARC - Kumho. None of them do it to improve their products, only to promote their products. |

Don't want to overstep the mark as a non-supporting pwrx vender... but when you need something black, round & inflatable , certainly give us consideration... even Achilles if your budget is blown on yet another engine build or 6 speed upgrade

How many members on pwrx?? 1 buck spread over everybody isn't much of a discount
But always happy to sell tyres - makes buying lunch easier... just can't help with comp Yoko's sadly - Bob & John @ WW have exclusivity on them. |
