Hi guys, im excited to say that I will be going to get the following mods previously posted on the 29th of this month. Yes, I would be saving if I source my parts but I just don't have the free time to do that.=D

Cant Wait!

did you get a front lip? You can buy my STI front lip (will suit your WRX - it is currently on my 2011 WRX) for $600. It is a genuine Subaru STI item, from Subaru Australia.

Seibon or Bayson R - neither are very cheap, plus the shipping from the US.

Ultrex do a c/f front lip locally which I think was about $300 from memory - I have one and it fit well, no problems DIY.

Personally I reckon the front lip is enough, adding the side skirts etc is too much.

Well I got my car back from the workshop today. What can I say? The feeling is awesome!, smooth pulls all the way, better handling. The only downside is the resonance at 2000rpm when decelerating. Anyone having problems like this?

Had the same problem when I had a Butler cat back installed (was so straight through it wasn't funny), used to play havoc with the misses ears so off it went.
Not too sure about aftermarket exhausts, but the only way I've managed to remove the resonance/cabin noise in the rear was to convert the diff back section to one outlet only, e.g. one muffler not two.

I'm running the stock exhaust at the moment so this may not be applicable to your current exhaust.

Yeah it's so weird, people were saying it might be the heatshield thats making the noise.

I get a tinny/jingling sound on acceleration and deceleration. Turns out that part of my Butler exhaust faintly touches one of the rear control arms at higher revs. I can see the contact mark on the exhaust. Must take it back to Norm and see if he can minimise the woobly.
ImPreSiV likes this.
