Just found this as well, note to self, google before asking questions.

Did you have a look at the TC105N at all?
Appears to be a good number of group buys going on at the moment for staggered and non staggered setups, also a bit lighter, e.g. 7.30kg from memory.

I went through this a few weeks back...doing bulk research i think the cheapest locally available rim would be the GMAX Drift6, which EVOR sell for $750 a set. They are ~8kg a rim.

Next option would be the Enkei RPF1, which is also around ~8kg a rim. Price i got was ~1300 delivered with hub rings. This quote was from Gerald @ Cheap Wheels Direct.

Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels

You can sort by car make and model, and then by wheel weight as well.
Easy way to see some choices.

O.Z. Alleggerita HLT and Enkei Racing RPF1 are both about 6.5kg.
I have a set of RPF1's that I use for the track.

Yeah the TC's were my first pick but i didnt want to go staggered due to where i drive and for resale (if i change rims i can offload these onto a wrx) plus TC's dont come in bronze.

Fair enough, the TC's do come in a nice DGM colour

17x7 G-Max drift 6 are 6.5kg each. For $750 it's hard to beat.

What would a set of equivalent sized rotas weigh? Everyone seems to think they are super heavy and crap. I wouldnt have a problem racing with them.
