Take it to a dealer and get a estimate on it's price from them. that will be pretty accurate. Private sale, add 5K to what he offered you.

I have an 11 month old 2005 MY05 WRX WRC Blue 6000 kms imac, exhaust, tint, bonnet & light protectors, moulded mudflaps, carpet mats, $2k stereo, 12 months rego and I would consider myself lucky to get $35K private sale.
So remember, your car is only worth as much as similar vehicles being sold. My 2 cents worth. |

Red book is what dealers go buy when you trade a vehicle give or take a few dollars.
But when they sell them they go on what the market is prepared to pay. Unfortunately that is the case. |
