Anyone know about the WRX in Canberra with 500+KW at all 4 wheels? Whats it got to get 500+?

Haven't heard of it, but it could be many things. Probably built block, custom intake manifold and big turbo among other things $$$

All I know is that it still uses a standard 6 speed sti gearbox. They must be able to take a hammering

While it has high power figures, APPARENTLY (internet rumours and ricers bitching!) it was dyno'd in 3rd and no doubt the autosalon organisers are laughing all the way to the bank with the crowd it attracted..

At the end of the day, the real results will come from MPH and reliability of the engine. You CANT argue with that. I'm sure it will be an animal though!
