newish ecu is smarter than the older ecus.
probably compensated it by holding back ignition

i would say its more the fact that once that got a tast of it they cant stop thinking of it!!! lol...

Im running atmo on my lib, never a prob, can get anoying sometimes but was the easiest option when doing the fmic. There is no need to remove the BOV for a service, wouldnt make a difference.. as long as it isn't a dodgy one that opens at idle your right...
