Hi there i'll take a looksee soon. Kinugawa sells some for about $590 to me. But then stage 2 is buy a 2.5 sump that is guaranteed to fit with them as some don't.

Thanks for the detailed reply, maybe i'll get a second hand 2.5 sump that way i'll get all the other bits needed. I have just bought my scoobie and the last owner said he got a tune (yes I know theres good n bad) but I thought headers first then retune. From a mechanical point of view I can't get me head around 1 pipe shorter than the other taking much needed power. Is there any improvement to fitting UEL to a 300HP EJ20 Taaz |

You said the car is tuned and that it has 300HP, so what are the current mods? Turbo? ECU? Etc.

Thanks for your reply again. It's 190 at the wheels so I figured about 290BHP (the extra 10 was optimism) Not too modded and won't be to worked. Everything on the car is standard apart from 3 inch X force catback, G reddy 2 stage boost only a few PSI more I keep it on low boost, front mount, Pod filter, BOV. Down the track maybe induction work like T/body and intake tube Are you going to say not worth the money for EL cuz unequal length irritates me and i'll be happy to spend $800 to change it. I'm not in any way telling you not to spend the money if you want to, as it's not my car so I don't really care. However, in my case the change to EL was to complement going twin scroll, as I think may have been the reason others went a similar path. There is a member named... Err... JohnVK something who I believe went EL with single scroll so maybe hit him up. Also, there's still a boxer rumble with EL, so your car won't magically turn V-Tec even if you change it.

Ok maybe I'll PM Mr Johnvk.
Not looking to change the sound as priority just increase the equality of each cylinder and efficiency therefore more power. UEL pipes just doesn't sound like a proper design to me but more an afterthought or a quick way to send the exhaust to the back without hitting to many things. I spent thousands on my last car just to CC the heads. Taa Quote:
